Why a Summer Wellness Bundle?

Hey everyone! I’m Bailey, Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and Director of The Produce Box.

I love that my work here at TPB brings together two of my deepest passions: nutrition and local farming. My own health challenges were what first led me down both of these paths—learning how food could be a source of healing, and recognizing how much more nourishing it is when grown with care by local farmers. The Produce Box gives us access to beautiful, seasonal, local, and often organic produce, not only delicious but also packed with nutrients that support our bodies in amazing ways.

That's why I'm excited to present our first Summer Wellness Bundle, a hydrating and antioxidant boosting mix of fruit and veggies. Shoutout to local Chef Ashleigh Scherman who helped us come up with this Blue Ginger Cooler Recipe!

For our first Summer Wellness Bundle, you’ll receive a group of anti-inflammatory, antioxidant-rich, and ultra-hydrating powerhouses:

Lemons: High in Vitamin C and antioxidants—great for immunity and skin health.
Blueberries: Small fruit, big power! Known for their incredible antioxidant content.
Kiwi: May help increase melatonin levels; rich in antioxidants, folate, and fiber.
Ginger: A natural anti-inflammatory with powerful antioxidant properties.
Cucumbers: Your hydration heroes! Plus a source of vitamins K, C, and potassium.

So, what do you do with all of these besides enjoy some refreshing snacks? Try this cooling, nutrient-packed drink:

Blue Ginger Cooler

2 Tbsp minced ginger (start with a 1½-inch piece; peel and grate or mince)
½ lemon (deseeded; leave the peel on for extra nutrients)
1 cup cucumber (peeled, deseeded, and diced)
¼ cup blueberries
Local honey (to taste)

Blend the first four ingredients into a smooth puree using a kitchen blender. Mix to taste with filtered or sparkling water. Add local honey to your preferred sweetness level—and voilà! A refreshing, health boosting, heat beating, tasty splash in your glass!
